Helping out in the communty
Saturday 8th February 09 saw the "charge of the light brigade" on the overchurch estate.
Armed with hundred's of low-energy lightbulbs, volunteers from jubilee church wirral descended on the estate giving out free bulbs to residents as part of our social action program to "spread some light" into the wirral.
Our social action program is being headed up by Colette Rogers and ably supported by other volunteers from the church. So far we have been undertaking regular events such as litter picking, giving out christmas treats as well as the latest light bulb extravaganza.
