Living Stones
Building a church where we all play our part
This short sermon series looks at the concept of us being built together as living stones.
1 Peter 2v4-6
"As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ."
Church is not a building where we meet - it is the people who meet. Each of us is of tremendous worth to God and he wants to build us together as living stones. Stones accomplish something in a building - they provide the walls, the strength of the place. As we build church together we each have gifts, skills etc..which the Church needs for it to be fruitful and effective.
